A big welcome to Gower to 4-legged friends!

At Bayview Oxwich we extend a big welcome (croeso mawr) not only to our visitors of the human kind, but also to their 4-legged friends. With a dog of our own (Luna our lazy Labradoodle) we well understand how important our pets are to family life, and that holidays wouldn’t be the same without a dog in tow.

That’s why our holiday rental portfolio at Bayview offers 2??? properties that welcome guests on two and four legs. Tŷ Florence, our, architect-designed, contemporary cottage is an ideal getaway for up to eight adults and two dogs who all can enjoy high-spec interiors and wonderful views of coast and countryside. We also have a luxury, ground-floor apartment with offers accommodation for six humans and two well-behaved dogs as well as a private, enclosed outside space.

The Gower peninsula offers many dog-friendly destinations too: miles of sandy beaches, coastal paths and promenades open to well-behaved dogs that abide by the rules – and there aren’t that many! Most of our beaches have unrestricted access to dogs all year long; others have restrictions that run in the busier summer period from 1st May until 30th September, so autumn and winter time is a great time for you and your dog to roam free. You can check access and useful information by visiting www.swansea.gov.uk/dogsonbeaches

And our many cafes, bars and restaurants across the Gower peninsula and the lovely seaside village of Mumbles are only too ready to welcome you and your best friend. They include our very own Oxwich Bay Hotel here in Oxwich, the famous Kings Head Inn Llangennith and many, many more which you can find here on this link Dog friendly cafe's and restaurants (the apostrophe is not down to us!)

So, if you and your dog are looking for a holiday where you’re free to roam, Bayview, Oxwich offers a great choice of options. Please call, Wanda and the Team to discuss which option is best for you and your dog. We look forward to welcoming you.
