Taking to the Skies over Swansea Bay

We’re getting excited at Bayview Oxwich as it’s now not long to wait until one of the annual highlights of the Swansea and Gower calendar comes around again. On Saturday, 6th and Sunday, 7th July, 2024, Wales’ much anticipated National Air Show will take to the skies over Swansea Bay. And it’s all free!

Just a half-an-hour drive from Bayview, the natural amphitheatre of Swansea Bay will provide the backdrop for some of the best pilots and flying displays in the world to show their stuff in a non-stop show of aerial acrobatics.

It’s an unmissable event attracting hundreds of thousands of people of all ages who not only want to witness the spectacles in the sky, but also be part of the excitement that sees Swansea’s prom transformed into a traffic-free zone with ground displays, delicious food and drinks stands, countless VR experiences, music and live bands, and activities suitable for a wonderful family day out.
