Gower pub named in Wales’ best 8
At Bayview Oxwich we were delighted to learn recently that one of our guests’ favourite pubs, The Britannia Inn, in Llanmadoc, a beautiful village in the north of the Gower peninsula, has been named one of Wales’ best 8 pubs in The National Pub & Bar Awards 2024.
It was selected by the judges of this prestigious annual award as ‘standing out above the rest’ and in doing so, was chosen as the county of West Glamorgan winner. It ‘demonstrated excellence’ across a number of criteria that affects the ‘customer journey’, including service and style of offer.
The Britannia Inn (known locally as ‘The Brit’) will now go on to be part of the 94 county winners from across the whole of the UK, who will celebrate their achievements in London on 26th June and find out which pub will take the title for Wales, and the UK National Pub & Bar of the Year for 2024.
Meanwhile, the Britannia Inn is in the limelight as it should be and is using this unique platform to promote itself. So we thought we would too! It is worth reminding ourselves why the Britannia Inn is so loved by locals and visitors alike:
