Make Bayview Oxwich your #happyplace

At Bayview Oxwich we’re enjoying Visit Swansea Bay’s www.vistswanseabay.com current online #happyplace marketing campaign – an exciting showcase of the never-ending locations Swansea and the Gower peninsula offer for making happy memories.

We never take for granted that for such a compact area (a peninsula just 19-miles long) Gower certainly packs a big punch in the beauty stakes. No wonder it was the UK’s first-ever designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB 1956).

But people and personal experience make for memories. So whether it’s family fun, a romantic weekend, watersports, a foodie break, the #happyplace campaign gives you a taste of what’s on offer here in Gower and the happy memories you can take back home with you.

There are 19 videos at present posted on the You Tube Channel the latest being a feature on one of Bayview’s favourite experiences on Gower Coast Adventures in which skipper, Dave, shows us why the Gower coast is his favourite #happyplace because of the wonderful cliff scenery and abundant wildlife seen from his boat. But there’s more: Three Cliffs bay, Swansea Bay, Port Eynon Bay and the Gower Coast Path (part of the unique Wales Coast Path, 12 years old this year) all feature to give an overall wow feeling!

The #happyplace campaign made us focus here at Bayview, on our personal favourite happy hot spots and activities in Gower:

Ellen (owner)

“Lying in my bed at Bayview looking out across Oxwich Bay towards the iconic Three Cliffs Bay – it never ceases to amaze. And it’s the same view our guests get from our rental properties.”

Michael (owner)

“Walking Luna our labradoodle from Bayview and on along the beach at Oxwich. We’re both in our element with sand and sea. Oxwich is great for dogs and dog-lovers.”

Megan (daughter)

“Swimming in the lovely heated pool at Little Haven, the exclusive retreat Bayview rents out – that’s when I’m allowed and when there are no guests there!”

Florence (daughter)

“Cantering on the back of Freddie, my horse. I love going with my friends along the lovely secret beach at Pwll-du.”

Alice (daughter)

“Exploring the church at St Illtyd in Oxwich and the graveyard. I love the stories and imagining new ones.”

Jane (mother)

“Watching the sun go down over Burry Holms, the tidal Island in Llangennith on the west of Gower. It’s said to be the best sunset in the UK.”

Philip (step-father)

“Eating lunch at a table by the window on a stormy autumn day at Oxwich’s fantastic Beach House Restaurant.”

We’d love you to make Bayview Oxwich your #happyplace and make your own memories. Please contact Wanda and the Team here at Bayview who’ll be more than happy to talk you through the many wonderful holiday rental property options that would be best suited to you and your family and friends.
