At Bayview, Oxwich we’re lucky to have not one, but two, award-winning beverage enterprises on our doorstep. We’re delighted to endorse The Gower Gin Company and The Gower Brewery for their outstanding gins and beers and thrilled that both companies are recognised for flying the flag for Gower produce.

The Gower Gin Company is our near neighbour, based in the south Gower village of Port Eynon. It’s an exemplar of Gower and Welsh produce and a shining example of a successful rural enterprise. Gower Gin GWYR is the very essence of Gower’s sense of place – the freshness of the sea and the heady fragrance of local dune herbs. Even the bottle’s distinctive design reflects the company’s pride in Swansea’s maritime past: blue for marine, and copper for a time when Swansea was known the world over as Copperopolis.
This clever company has adapted its offering during the Pandemic and has supplied hand sanitising product to the NHS and to us here at Bayview, Oxwich.
Gower Brewery
Inspired by the love of good beer and the lack of a brewery on the Gower peninsula, Gower Brewery was founded in 2011. Today it is one of the fastest growing breweries in Wales with its popular labels – Gower Gold, Gower Power and Black Diamond – branded as ‘Ales of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ a play on Gower’s status as the UK’s first ever designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB 1956). It has every right to brand its ales as such – armed with the best ingredients, they are packed full of flavour and natural goodness and brewed to the highest standards using traditional methods.
