New holiday rental properties are back on track at Bayview, Oxwich

Though Bayview remains on lockdown to guests for the foreseeable future, we are glad to say that construction work on our three brand-new, detached eco-friendly holiday rentals is now back on track. Our fabulous building team, working to UK and Welsh Government social-distancing guidelines, is here on site at Bayview, Oxwich.

All this means good news for prospective guests, as, when the new normal returns, our fabulous holiday rental properties will be ready to welcome you – all three holiday rental properties on stream by 2021, with two being ready this summer, 2020.

The three holiday rental properties are named after our three girls and will be available to rent in order of birth. Tŷ Megan will come first, followed soon after by Tŷ Florence: both already have roofs on, under-floor heating in place, and inside configurations built. You’ll have to wait slightly longer for Tŷ Alice, just as we had to for our youngest child, but the arrival will be just as wonderful as the first two!

All three holiday rental properties:

  • have spectacular sea views across Oxwich Bay to Three Cliffs Bay

  • are detached

  • use the best natural materials – slate roofs, local stone cladding, and timber windows

  • are light, airy and spacious using a predominantly neutral palette and the best of modern design

  • have 3 bedrooms (1 with bunks) and sleep 6

  • have 2 high-spec bathrooms – 1 family, 1 en-suite

  • have underfloor heating

  • have utility rooms on the ground floor

  • have partially covered private balcony/terrace areas with integrated timber bench seating

  • have high spec kitchen, dining and open plan living areas on first floor to maximise views across Oxwich Bay

Though the three holiday rental properties share the above characteristics, each will have an individual personality, as do our girls, brought about by the use of distinctive accent colours, contemporary and rustic soft furnishings and fabrics with an emphasis on sustainability. Our wonderful interior designer www.niainteriordesign.co.uk has been working with us parents, and our children, to feed into this.

Even though each of the three holiday rental houses is designed for private living, we’re also factoring in that sense of community that is so prevalent here at Bayview. So, should you wish, you’ll be able to take advantage of a communal barbeque area and seating, as well as outside copper showers.

Due to the challenges of the current Coronavirus crisis, we know you’ll have to wait a little longer than planned before we can welcome you here to show off our new holiday homes. But we can guarantee it will be well worth the wait!
